Get ready for fun in the sun! July 2025 is going to be epic! Get ready! Introducing Carnival Cruise Lines newest destination built exclusively by Carnival for Carnival guests: Celebration Key. 65 acres of fun for the whole family across 5 distinctly different zones for you to explore. Whether you want to spend the day on a long white sand beach, try local Bahamian cuisine, shop or spend the day with the kids in the largest freshwater lagoon in the Bahamas, Carnival has something for you. Let’s take a deep dive and explore all the fun this destination has to offer.
Paradise Plaza

This is the entrance to all the fun. There is a lot to see and do here, just in this area. Cant decide what to do first? Head on over to the ice cream shop and grab a cool treat while you are trying to decide , or get your jam on and dance to the island music. Want a photo op for Instagram, then head on over to the amazing fountain or climb to the top of the Suncastle for a birdseye view. Watch your children slide down the waterslide or give it go yourself.
Calypso Lagoon

The next stop on our tour of Celebration Key is Calypso Lagoon. This is the adult friendly( not adult only) section of Celebration Key. Relax on a float, or lounge by the lagoon. Need a drink ? Head on over to the Swings Bar where every seat is literally a swing and cool off in the freshwater lagoon, or rent a cabana that will hold up to eight guests. Need a break from the water? Head on over to the sports court, or eat something at one of the several dining options, which we will discuss in part 2. There’s also a dedicated adults only area, for those guests 21 and over which includes a swim up bar with a DJ and beach loungers.
Starfish Lagoon

Continuing on our tour around the area, our next stop is Starfish Lagoon. This is the family friendly area, so it’s perfect for all ages from littles to grandma and grandpa. Here in this area you will find, a splash pad with a shallow pool for the littles, as well as activites for older children such as basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and more games at the game pavilion. Hungry? You can choose from several dining options including food trucks and restaurants. Having a party? There are several Beach villas and floating aquabanas that hold up to 8.
Pearl Cove Beach Club

Have grown children? Head on to Pearl Cove Beach club. This is Celebration Key’s exclusive adults only area. Heads up! This is a premium exclusive area that requires a fee to enter. There are different levels of access that I will discuss more in detail in a future blog, but for now let’s get look at the overview.
This exclusive area includes a private beach, and a stunning infinity pool with amazing views of the turquoise water. No need to leave your spot on the beach when you need a bite to eat or something to wet your whistle, as there is beach service or poolside service available. There is also a full service restaurant if you have had too much sun. Love the shade? I do too, lounge under an umbrella or lounge on a day bed.
Lokono Cove

Our final destination on this tour is Lokono Cove. Here in this area you will find duty free shops and food, including local merchants for a true Bahamian flair. This portal is named after the earliest settlers of Grand Bahamian Island. Not only will you find unique shops but you will find art exhibitions by local artists, a mural wall, and live music, as well as the starting point for other excursions.
